The I Ching is a five thousand year old system of divination--an oracle-- which has been consulted through the ages as a guide for the correct action to achieve success. This course teaches the traditional way to approach the I Ching using the three coin method. You will learn about the basic structures of the hexagrams and the judgments, which are given as metaphors.

 

This online class will consist of a thirty minute lecture (podcast) and an hour-long interactive session in an on-line virtual classroom. No special equipment is needed, just a computer and an internet connection.

This course will help you clarify your communication with the I Ching oracle. You will learn a system of inquiry to help you apply the meanings of the hexagrams to your daily life.

Required text: I Ching, the Oracle of the Cosmic Way by Carol K. Anthony and Hanna Moog.
